Last night we had some friends with kids over and Sam did really well. One of the people was my cousin, Wes, and Sam even climbed on his lap and gave him a book to read to her. All kids flock to Wes so it's not surprising that's who she chose, but still... Had a good time!

Today was nice weather so Andy and I took Sam out geocaching with us. We've never tried it before although Andy's had his GPS for a couple of years now. We looked for two but weren't able to find either of them. One was supposed to be in a park so we let Sam play for a while and she really liked that. The other was supposed to be on a trail so Sam had fun running around there, too. She's still sleeping now and has been for over two and a half hours so I guess we wore her out. Yay for long naps.

People hide bins with trinkets and other goodies in remote places and then post the geographical coordinates on websites so other people can use their GPS systems to find them. When you find one, you remove a trinket and leave one of your own. Just cheesy stuff like keychains, bouncy balls, etc... nothing of any value. I've heard of it but had never tried it and Andy and I thought it would be fun. We had no luck actually finding the bins even though we were at the right coordinates, but we had a good time so we'll try it again sometime. Sam loved getting outdoors and ended up taking almost a three hour nap!
